Super Bowl Sunday!

I took a break from sugar cookies this week to bake Christmas cookies with my best friend an annual tradition! This year we added the most delicious recipe to the mix: Brown Butter Pumpkin Cookies with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting from The Cookie Book by they are seriously sooooo good!

I love it when I get unique themes and color requests. For this baby shower they asked a jungle theme, but more “modern” and sophisticated with richer colors, and with some rainbow elements as well. Perfect opportunity to do some non-traditional rainbows, a really dark green and rose gold accents 😍

Baby Shark Doo Doo! My kids were a bit older when Baby Shark permeated our ear drums so it never really stuck, I also hadn’t paid attention to the different features. I laughed making Grandpa Shark and Mommy Shark…she has lips 👄😂

Another busy cookie weekend! Including these super adorable koala Girl Scouts. One of our local troops (who I definitely bought cookies from) celebrated a successful cookie sales season with a party and of course MORE COOKIES! What’s your favorite Girl Scout cookie?

Did you know that the character of Hello Kitty is actually a London schoolgirl? It was created in Japan, but she is actually a perpetual 3rd-grader living just outside of London, who knew??

My baby turned 12 this weekend and celebrated with an Alice in Wonderland themed escape room with her friends. The overall style of the cookies was inspired by a set did. I loved how she added the thin black outline for details.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I had a “Lucky One” birthday order this weekend and tried some new techniques for rainbows. They turned out really sweet.
