Right Click "Additional Rule" folder > New Path Rule.

Where it says Path, Type the path of avnotify.exe on your computer, or use the Browse button to find it. (On XP64 using a default install of Avira, the path is: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\avnotify.exe)

Make sure the "Security Level" Dropdown menu is selected as "Disallowed"

There is a free video player called VLC media player. It is a small piece of software, but it will play just about every type of video and sound/music out there. I highly recommend it because it is so small and unobtrusive and will play everything including HD video files that Windows Media Player will not. Get it here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
