Where excavation is viable, a puzzle parking system adds a pit level beneath the grid.
A vehicle reverses onto a platform and is raised, a second transfers into the position below it, and the vehicle at pit level rises into the space left open. The driver triggers the cycle from a keypad, fob or remote, and no attendant is involved at any point.

A Queens auto dealership is equipped with 34 custom oversized ParkPlus QP1000 Quad Stackers: four levels per unit, 136 vehicles on 34 parking spaces, outdoors.
Each unit carries its own roof, gutters and leaders, collecting and draining rainwater off the stacker itself.
