Meet Ambrose, the hardest working farm manager!
His jobs include:

*keeping an eye on the birds
*making sure Luke stays on task

Happy Father’s Day!
We’re especially thankful for Luke and all he does for the farm and our family.
Today, we’re celebrating by taking a day to relax. We may even make a recipe from the Pasta Grannies cookbook that we found at Petal and Pour!
Summer solstice = BLACKBERRY SEASON!!!
There’s nothing quite like picking sun-ripened berries straight from the plant. Sweet and juicy, they’re one of our favorite signs that summer is in full swing.

These San Marzano tomatoes make the perfect pasta sauce! They may seem small today, but it won’t be long before these babies are on the fresh sheet.

Another Thursday, another harvest. 🌱
These beauties, along with some fresh basil, are headed to Gaining Ground Grocery tomorrow!
Harvesting close to delivery means your produce spends less time in transit and more time staying fresh for your table. That’s one of the best parts of buying local!

One of these things is not like the other!
While prepping our beets for pickling, we found a lonely Chioggia beet. Sometimes seed packets can have little surprises!
