September 1st will mark 16 years we started Elm C🌳ty Overhead Door with over 40 years experience. We never imagined a two man operation would be what it is today. We service both residential / commercial fire/ police departments , both Yale New Haven hospital/ University just to name a few in the Greater New Haven area/ Shoreline / Fairfield county.

These are the kind of messages that make being in business very rewarding. It’s great helping people especially in an emergency situation and simply being appreciated. This customer needed to get their car out of the garage to get to work for a very important meeting and we made it happen in record time. Doesn’t get any better than that. These Avante glass overhead doors are gorgeous! The customer wanted to drive up in, and as he pulled into his garage, he wanted the view of the ocean. I’ve been in the Overhead Door business since 1988 and here I am 32 years later still going strong! I not only love the garage door business but I love fixing/repairing as well as new installations. My goal is to save my customers money ( repairing rather than replacing) and keeping them satisfied with quality service. These Carriage House overhead doors by Clopay was a nice clean look on this house. The black straps and handles accented the door and gave it a finished look. The windows are Sq 24 and you have many other window choices. ☘️Elm City Overhead Door LLC ☘️

If I said it once I’ve said it a million times that it is so important to support small businesses . These times are hard but I want to see small businesses such as this very reputable company succeed. Nicole owner of Dog Tags Construction LLC went above and beyond in guiding us with the style that would fit our home, coordinating the job, fair pricing but most importantly her personal involvement. She showed up on the job site numerous times making sure we were happy . And YES we are most certainly happy with the outcome. Same color house but most definitely a different look. The cedar impression siding is beautiful with hunter green shutters (Kevin said they have to be green ☘️ ) Nicole also coordinated the installation of the gutters which by the way we loved Tom! Last but not least the Gallery Collection Overhead doors by Clopay was installed by of course Elm City Overhead Door LLC . Lighting was installed by yours truly Kevin Conway! What a convenient way to finish off your shed. An Overhead Garage Door gives you easy access to your outdoor tools, lawn mower, generator , snow blower etc. especially if you choose to have it electrically operated . To all our loyal customers both residential/commercial Elm City Overhead Door is operating during the outbreak of Covid19 as we are considered essential. Over the weekend we received several calls asking if we were able to service residential and the answer is YES! We are protected with N95 masks as well as clothe masks as an overlay to protect us and following the guidelines to 6ft of social distancing. We want to be sure nobody is trapped in their homes to get essential groceries and pharmaceutical needs especially those that are health care providers. We know it is equally as important for you to get out in case of an emergency as well as our fire/police departments that we have been servicing.
