Happy Earth Day 2022! Imagine a world with less traffic and cleaner air. These are just some of the benefits that school bus ridership provides. Learn the facts and play it safe. Visit for more information.
Wishing everyone a fabulous Spring Break! Relax, recharge, just 10weeks of school left when you return!!!
April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Talking and texting on a phone are driving distractions. Texting while driving is especially dangerous because it combines all three types of distractions. Take the following actions to stay focused behind the wheel and share this post to remind others to .

📵 Do not use your phone while driving.
🚗Pull over in a safe location if you must text or make a call.
👀 Focus on the driving environment — the vehicles around you, pedestrians, cyclists, and objects or events that may mean you need to act quickly to control or stop your vehicle.
We're hiring! Apply now.
Now that winter is over, you are likely to see more roadwork on your daily routes. Here are some tips to prepare for those big orange signs to keep both you and the construction workers safe this Spring.

🚧 Expect the Unexpected - Lanes may change, speed limits may be reduced, construction workers may be walking in front of or behind vehicles.

🚧 Slow Down, be alert & pay attention to signs & flaggers - In a construction zone, a flagger has the same authority as a regulatory sign, so you can be cited for disobeying his or her directions.

🚧 Be Patient - Noone likes pesky potholes or uneven roads, be thankful for construction workers who work hard to fix our roads to ensure we have a smooth & safe ride.
Spring showers bring summer flowers! but did you know that wet pavement contributes to so many traffic crashes each year? Here are some tips below to follow when you are caught in the rain.
🌧️ Slow down & leave room during wet driving conditions. Avoid hard braking or sharp turning
🌧️ Anticipate problems in the first few minutes after it starts raining or in a heavy downpour
🌧️ The first 10 minutes after the rain begins are the most dangerous. The rain mixes with oil from motor vehicles and oil from new asphalt.
🌧️ In severe rain a school bus driver should reduce his or her speed by half. Because of its weight a school bus will seldom hydroplane. One reason it will hydroplane is if it is going too fast.

🌼☀️🌷 Happy first day of Spring!! Stay tuned for some Spring driving safety tips throughout the week!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We love when the drivers get in the spirit!!

Students are significantly safer riding to and from school in a school bus than walking, riding bikes, or riding/driving in their family car. The number of fatalities of school age children traveling to and from school, per 100 million vehicle miles traveled (VMT), is 70 times higher in passenger vehicles than in school buses.

Motorists risk children’s lives when they fail to stop for the school bus as it loads and unloads its passengers. To keep children safe, start by learning the laws in your state. It’s illegal to pass a school bus within the roadway as it drops off or picks up passengers—regardless of the direction of approach. Remember that there is no “safe” way to illegally pass the school bus, so be cautious when sharing the road with it. Finally, let others know that putting kids’ lives at risk is not OK. Report aggressive drivers and spread the word by sharing this post. Take a pledge to brake for the school bus.

School buses are the safest form of highway transportation, but did you know that the most dangerous part of the school bus ride is getting on and off the school bus? The loading and unloading area around the school bus is called the “Danger Zone” Here's how to stay safe around the danger zone:

🚍 Arrive at the bus stop five minutes early.
🚍 Stand at least 5 giant steps (10 feet) away from the edge of the road.
🚍 Wait until the bus stops, the door opens, and the driver says it’s okay before stepping onto the bus.
🚍 Be careful that clothing with drawstrings and book bags with straps or dangling objects do not get caught in the handrail or door when exiting the bus.
🚍 Be sure the bus driver can see you, and you can see the bus driver.
🚍 Walk in front of the bus; never walk behind the bus.

Share the post to spread awareness during National School Bus Safety Week!

It’s School Bus Safety Week! 🚌 Before heading out the door, go over a few safety tips with your children. Safety starts at the bus stop.

Today we kick off National School Bus Safety Week!! This year's theme is "1 Bus + 1 Driver = A Big Impact on Education." All week we will be sharing helpful school bus safety tips, but we also want to highlight the fantastic drivers across our country who are an integral part of our educational system.

A great start to the weekend! A pumpkin for the driver!

Even if your child is not riding the yellow school bus to school, it is still so important to teach them how to be safe around the school bus. Share these safety tips with your kids and community as you prepare for a new week and please REPOST these tips help spread awareness.

🚍 Your child should never walk behind a school bus.

🚍 If your child must cross the street in front of the bus, tell him/her to walk on a sidewalk or along the side of the street to a place at least five giant steps (10 feet) in front of the bus before crossing.

🚍 Your child should also make eye contact with the bus driver before crossing to make sure the driver can see him/her.

🚍 Keep alert at all times; don’t be distracted by electronic devices that take your eyes (and ears) off the road.

🚍 Whenever they are available, use marked crosswalks to cross the street, and look left-right-left for vehicles or bikes before crossing.
