Eagle Hills RC Raceway

Here is an update in case it hasn’t made it through the grapevine. I have had multiple meetings with the eagle parks director and mayor and discussed all of the things that the track needs.
The city is drafting an agreement and it has to go through city council for discussion and approval. Once that is complete the lease agreement will be signed and we can begin holding events.
We’re in a holding pattern until that happens. As soon as I have more solid news, I will share it.

Unfortunately, there is still lots of standing water and most of the track is still mud. Doesn't look good to be dried up by Sunday for racing.

Please stay off the track until it has dried up. Thanks!

Mother Nature is going to Rain on our parade... Hopefully next weekend will be dry. We are tentatively planning to race Sunday, October 31st if the weather allows.

Thanks to all of our racers who came out today! The cool weather was nice, the track started to get into decent racing shape later in the day.

We are racing this Saturday! Please note the 11am Start time.
We are also going to have the sportsman e-buggy class available if entries permit. 80% rule applies if your qual time is within 80% of the top 5 in open, you will be moved into the open class.
RTR class, bring out your RTR rigs, with or without transponder, we will hand count. Try out some racing without a required transponder!

And Last! 50/50 Jackpot!!! Winner takes half of the cash!!

A huge thanks to everyone that came out today. It sure looked like everyone had a great time. It was all hands on deck all day to Marshall, pit and drive. But we took our time, everyone got 4 runs in per class.

We fully understand and have taken into consideration the thoughts about sportsman e-buggy. However, we are asking everyone to give this format a shot before you judge it. Come in with an open mind, and you might just be surprised.

We also have been discussing an RTR class. There are many in our valley that have purchased RTR vehicles, and not quite ready to make the plunge into a transponder, or some of the other necessary items used by veteran racers... There will be a chance to dip your toes in the water and see if it is something you would like to continue with.
We are in the process of ordering stickers, and may not be ready for this class until the October 9th race. We will post more details as this becomes ready. Please let us know if you are interested in running this RTR class!
