Mystic Roots Visions Statement
Eddie and Kristen began their collaborative art journey seven years ago when they first met under the light of a full moon within the warm coastal waters of Wilmington, NC. Their dynamic partnership catalyzed a fire of self expression and exploration as they dove into the great mystery through various mediums including paint, wire, bead, and music. Their art is insp
ired by their commitment to love, ceremony, music, gatherings, and mediation; through travel, hiking, interaction with nature, human connection, and indigenous cultures. They sit in ceremony with the Native American Church Lakota Tribe Chapter 3132, the Kogi of the Sierra Nevada, Colombia, and the Cofan tribe of Colombia. Their intention is to help bring about the awareness of indigenous wisdom through ceremony and reflections. Indigenous cultures hold the wisdom of our sacred connection to the earth and all the living ecology that inhabits it. Additionally, they are the front line of environmental protection, conservation and activism. Part of Mystic Roots Visions mission is to give back to support the wisdom of the indigenous culture that they are inspired by through donations of their art that is sold during fundraisers and events. Through our work we intend to provide reflections of the human journey that serve as a remembrance of our sacred connection to life. We hope that our art will contribute to the unfolding of the new human story and the epoch of harmony. The remembrance of our Mystic nature Roots us to wisdom that inspires Visions of Love ((
