Just finished this deck.

Trying to hone my craft a little. We made two bevel cuts on the bottom and heated the top so we could fold it over

Trying something different with Trex on stairs. Usually we picture framing the decking on the stairs which is a lot of work and extra framing on the stringers. I like this so far!

This was the first interior staircase I’ve done in a really long time. I obsessed way more than I needed to about it. Experience breeds confidence which makes you more relaxed.

This bath was a challenge with the large format tile.

In case people were wondering if building materials were truly sky high in price, 7/16” osb which is one of the most common items in construction, is $29 a sheet. Usually it’s $7-10, more in hurricane season. Treated lumber is still outrageously priced. Bigger builders may get discounts at supply houses but small companies like mine shop at Home Depot and Lowes.

Making progress, slowly, on a quite large screened porch/deck. The pandemic has slowed progress but not halted.

Here’s my latest bath renovation. I really like tile wainscoting!
