Chapman tools save the day performing open heart surgery on a turtle light projector when no other screwdriver would fit. Our tools are used extensively on medical equipment (for people) but I think this may be the first time for turtle surgery.

This photo was taken where Chapman MFG was built in 1965 and still is today! Here’s the story: in 1941 this beer truck crashed and parked in the barnyard of Parmelee farm. It sat for a few days until the trucking company sent another truck to recover it. Two things happened as a result of this accident. One, the beer company never recovered all of their beer. Two, the local package stores experienced a noticeable decline in business from the local farmers.

Groovy mini ratchet vibes on a Toolsday

Don't ask us how anyone works on CNCs without Chapman tools, we have no idea. These screws loosened up on one of our machines and it was the perfect situation to use a ball allen bit/extension/ratchet combo. Without our tools, we would have had to take the whole cover off to reach the screws, and it would have turned a 5 minute job into an hour job. In manufacturing, time is money, and luckily the machine is back up and running!

Help! We received these photos from a customer who bought an old Chapman set in a leatherette pouch. We've never seen a pouch like this before, and none of the old Chapman ads from the 50's and 60's show leatherette pouches. Does anyone have a pouch like this or know anything about them?
