Getting to drive these both at length only solidifies that the 1990s was “peak car”. Yes, the 2024 GTR is fast, but it feels nowhere near as cool.

Just went live on BaT! I rarely fall in love with cars anymore, maybe I’m getting old, but this one is different. The driving experience is just crazy good and the amount of restoration work on this particular example is insane. The car was supposedly build by a Nismo engineer at their facility in Japan and it’s just so damn good.

The last NA V12 before everything turns into a microwave. This Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae produces 769 horsepower and makes the best noise on its way to 9k-rpm’s. I don’t care how fast the Duracell powered cars go, they’ll never be the same. For sale: DM for info!
