Wishing your hair would grow faster? ⁣
Here are some helpful tips that can help! ⁣
⁣
▪️Avoid heat! Using the blow dryer and straightener everyday isn’t benefiting your hair, excessive use can cause damage to your hair and break off making it look like your hair is getting shorter. If you have to use heat, use a thermal protectant and use tool at a lower temperature! ⁣
⁣
▪️Drink lots of water! Drinking water not only is good for your hair, but it’s also good for your skin! Who doesn’t want both!?⁣
⁣
▪️Deep condition your hair at least once a week! This helps nourish and strengthen your hair, restore the hairs pH balance and promotes the elasticity in the hair. ⁣
⁣
▪️Massage your scalp! Who doesn’t love a good scalp massage? Get the blood flowing and stimulate those hair follicles!⁣
⁣
▪️Protective hairstyles! Perfect way to avoid heat is to style your hair so you don’t have to use heat! Braids are my all time favorite for looking cute while also not damaging my hair. Pinterest! Use a scrunchie instead of elastics. Don’t pull the hair up tight, this can cause breakage. ⁣
⁣
▪️Moisturize! Use a leave-in conditioner while the hair is damp and/or an oil on the ends! ⁣
⁣
‼️Remember‼️ Everyone’s hair is different and hereditary comes into play as well. Don’t be discouraged and be patient! Regular trims can help get rid of breakage that is already there and start your hair growth journey.⁣
