Technique will come in due time, for now, lets get you playing & developing more mechanical skills while working songs. Here you can see that she’s keeping her own time, I’m just reinforcing what she knows to be true, and also helping her build finger muscles in the process. It’s one thing to play notes, it’s another to be able to play with others “in time”. Moments like these help strengthen skills for the long musical journey ahead.

We’ve been working up a song called: “Sidelines by Pheobe Bridgers” & it’s coming along. He’s going to be accompanying a vocalist, so we’ve been working on getting it in time, adding in little melodies to maintain the integrity of the original track. I’m committed to building my students where they are, and navigating the world of music to fit their needs.
