This summer I’ve been slowing down and finding my peace. I just wanted to share a look into my chaos garden that brought me joy this morning. I enjoyed my morning caffeine in a cute cup, discovered some new friends living in our garden, and picked a fresh bouquet. 💐🐛🐸

My heart aches for those affected from the horrific floods that have been happening in the Texas. I call the Texas Hill Country my home. I attended summer camp along the Guadalupe River for the majority of my childhood. I can only imagine what these little girls and families are going through. I pray for the families affected, those who are still missing, first responders, and volunteers who are helping with search and rescue. My heart goes out to you. We are stronger than this storm.

Oops I did it again. I ghosted y’all but it gave me a much needed social media break. I’ve been working on my mental health and finding my creative spark again.

This is your reminder to take some time outside today. May is mental health awareness month, and to be honest I’ve been really struggling lately. This morning I took my youngest on a nature walk. I took the time to take care of myself and just slow down.
