Story time. ❤️

When we rescued Waffles back in January, he was severely underweight and living in a tiny space where he barely had room to move. Months of confinement and improper nutrition (and God knows what else) had left him stiff/sore/ulcers etc. It broke our hearts to see him that way.

Over the next few months, we gave him the time, care, good nutrition, and love he needed to heal. While Waffles wasn’t exactly thrilled about being surrounded by kids running around the barn every day 😂, we knew we wanted to find the home that was truly right for him.

Then he met an 8-year-old boy… and they just clicked.

Seeing this update fills my heart more than I can describe. As much as we loved having Waffles with us, rescue isn’t always about keeping them—it’s about giving them a second chance. Sometimes the greatest success is watching them find the family they were always meant to have. Couldnt be happier for Waffle Man 🥹
