Vladimir Putin has indicated that Russia would attempt to shoot down U.S.-made cruise missiles launched from Ukraine rather than immediately escalate the conflict with the United States.
The U.S. is considering supplying Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, which could strike deep into Russian territory. Putin acknowledged these missiles pose a threat but said they would not change the battlefield dynamics.
Air Defense Strategy: Putin stated, “Can Tomahawks harm us? They can. But we will shoot them down and improve our air defense system.” He emphasized that Russia’s military would adapt to the new threat rather than retaliate directly against the U.S..
Escalation Warning: Despite downplaying the battlefield impact, Putin warned that supplying such weapons would mark a “completely new stage of escalation” in U.S.-Russia relations. He argued that using Tomahawks without direct U.S. military involvement would be nearly impossible, implying that their deployment could be seen as a deeper American engagement in the war.
Diplomatic Tone: While issuing stern warnings, Putin also praised President Trump’s efforts to negotiate peace and described their recent summit as “productive,” suggesting he is still open to diplomacy.
In short, Putin has signaled that Russia’s first response to cruise missile attacks from Ukraine would be defensive—focused on intercepting the missiles—rather than launching immediate retaliatory strikes against the U.S.

Big developments just dropped on Trump’s peace deal in the Middle East
Ceasefire Agreement Reached
Israel and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of President Trump's 20-point peace plan. Trump announced that all hostages will be released soon, and Israel will withdraw troops to a designated line. The deal was brokered with help from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and Trump may travel to the region this weekend to push things forward.
Hamas plans to release 20 living hostages this weekend. Israel will begin withdrawing from most of Gaza and release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, including some serving life sentences.
Trump’s proposal includes a real estate development plan to rebuild Gaza, aiming to turn it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.” He wants to chair a new international “Board of Peace” overseeing Gaza’s reconstruction.
The plan hints at conditional Palestinian self-determination, but Netanyahu insists no promise of statehood was made. Hamas is expected to disband and disarm, and won’t be part of future governance.
The UN welcomed the deal as a “desperately needed breakthrough.” Displaced Palestinians expressed cautious optimism, hoping to return home soon.
This is the most significant breakthrough in the two-year war so far.

Terror Designation Justified
The United Kingdom’s decision to designate Palestine Action as a terrorist organization under the Terrorism Act 2000 has sparked fierce debate. Critics of the designation argue it’s a political maneuver to silence dissent. But the facts tell a different story—one of escalating violence, coordinated sabotage, and deliberate targeting of law enforcement.
Palestine Action began as a direct-action movement aimed at disrupting the UK arms trade, particularly companies linked to Israel. But its tactics quickly evolved from protests to millions in property damage and assaults on law enforcement, despite the group claiming to be non-violent.
The July 2025 break-in at RAF Brize Norton wasn’t just vandalism. Two police officers and a security guard were injured, one seriously, after being attacked with a sledgehammer. This was not an isolated incident. MI5’s Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre identified three separate acts of terrorism committed by the group.
What makes Palestine Action Group especially dangerous is its systematic approach. The group has published manuals and guides that teach others how to break into facilities, cause maximum damage, and evade detection. Maps of potential targets across the UK have circulated among supporters, turning activism into a nationwide threat matrix.
Supporters of the group claim the designation violates free speech and the right to protest. But rights come with responsibilities. Peaceful protest is protected. Coordinated violence is not. The UK’s proscription doesn’t silence dissent—it draws a line between lawful activism and unlawful extremism. Palestine Action crossed that line when it endangered lives and encouraged others to do the same.
Designating Palestine Action as a terrorist organization isn’t about politics—it’s about protecting public safety, upholding the rule of law, and preserving the integrity of legitimate protest. The courts will have their say, and debate continues, but based on the evidence, the UK government’s decision is not only justified but essential.
