My family and I spent our Sunday morning at the U-Pick at Three Son Farms LLC in Dover, Florida, and it was such a beautiful way to start the day. Rows and rows of strawberry plants, the sunshine, and the simple joy of picking fruit straight from the field.ā¤ļøš
Thereās something special about slowing down and being close to where your food comes from. You take your time, search for the ripest berries, and before you know it⦠your basket is overflowing. š
We may have gotten a little carried away and came home with two big boxes of strawberries, which means the kitchen is about to get so busy.
Some will be eaten fresh (because strawberries rarely make it home untouched). Some will go in the freezer to make smoothies. And some will be perfect for my homemade strawberry chia jamāone of my favorite ways to enjoy fresh picked strawberries.
If youāre local, I definitely recommend visiting in Dover. In addition to strawberries, they have so many local goodies in their store. I picked up some of their homemade mango preserves and apple butter. We also cool down with their homemade milkshakes. Everyone was super friendly, and the customer service is excellent! š
What would you make with a box of freshly picked strawberries?

Iām excited to share that Iāll be speaking at Tampa GreenFest 2026 this spring. šæ
My session, āFrom Garden to Glass: Creating Beverage Bars from Your Harvest,ā will explore how herbs, fruits, and edible flowers from your garden can be transformed into refreshing homemade beverages and beautiful drink bars.
This topic combines two things I loveāgardening and creating experiences around food and drinks that bring people together.
