So.....
On are second attempt to get there before dark and closing, and leaving work earlie again, we make it. I go inside to pay to cut a tree. The lady looks at me and says "Oh I'm sorry, but we only allow tree cutting on Saturday's and Sunday's and this Sunday is the last day. I explain to the lady my predicament, and you can see she has sympathy for my situation, but says we can come back Saturday or Sunday. I ho to talk to my husband, we got back in an politely ask again . The lady says "well here's the owner right here, you can talk to him. The guy with a smile and walking behind the desk with a chuckle, says "I mean, that's the rules and i can't change them." But " you can go look at the precut ones that were cut this morning." We agreed to atheist go look. 7½ ft tree $58 DOLLARS!
I walk back inside and say" No thank you, I guess we will go somewhere else for a tree. Now being nearly 4 everyplace is either closed or going to be before we get there.
I then go back to the truck, and have to explain to my daughter that they won't let us cut tree today.
So thank you to the owner of Finestkind, our daughter was so excited to cut a tree down, she left in tears.

Cutting and baling for our wholesale customers down South has started. The crew has been very fortunate to have great weather so far. We are looking forward to seeing our retail customers starting black Friday for pre-cut and choose and cut trees. 🙂🌲
