Parent's Progress:

Parent's Progress is the ABA Education component for parents that is vital to link the strategies used in clinic to the time your child is at home. Schedule your session with your child's BCBA covered by your health plan along with ABA.

Monday Tidbit:

If your child is non verbal but understands language and is able to follow instructions you might place a cordless doorbell into the restroom when toilet training. If the child needs assistance they can ring the doorbell to let Mom or Dad know when they need help to increase privacy. Demonstrate the doorbell to them first with the button in the same room as the chime before it is installed so they can hear how it works.

Speech Therapy Services are now enrolling for Fall. Our Dothan Clinic Speech Instructor Team create a Speech Curriculum that prepares children for the expectations of school. Attention Alabama ABA Families...
Please contact your child's Pediatrician if you are enrolled in ABA under Alabama Medicaid. Your Pediatrician must enroll as an ABA Specialty Provider by July 1 for your child to continue with ABA Benefits under Alabama Medicaid. It is our understanding that the Pediatrician just needs to fax letterhead to Medicaid indicating they have patients in ABA Therapy services. Dothan and Enterprise Pediatric Clinics have posted that they are working on it. We have not heard from the others but will post as we hear.
