The Dickson Pickles are a 13U travel baseball team bringing small-town pride, big league hustle, and a whole lot of pickle power.

We’re all about teamwork, character, and giving these boys unforgettable opportunities to grow on and off the field.

As a 13u team about half of our kids are playing middle school ball while the other half aren’t.

In an effort to not overload our players or parents — and to keep baseball fun instead of stressful — we’ve decided the Pickles will officially resume our season after middle school ball wraps up.

That said, we will still be holding some open practices for anyone who’s interested in joining the team or just wants to get some reps in. Those dates and details will be announced right here on this page.

We’re excited to get everyone back together soon and keep building something special. 🥒 ⚾️

It may have rained on our parade, but we had a great time anyway! 🥒🎄

Thank you SO MUCH to Coach Jeremy and Mrs. Jennifer with RUBIX for pulling our Pickle Sleigh (slay 💅)

The boys showed up and weathered the storm (pun intended) to spread some Christmas cheer, singing loud for all to hear! 🎶 ❄️

We’ve had a huge influx of messages and inquiries about Dickson Pickles tryouts (we love the excitement, y’all!) 🥒⚾️

If we do decide to host a tryout, it will most likely take place in January, and we’ll post all the details right here on this page as soon as they’re confirmed.

Make sure you’re following the page and have notifications turned on so you don’t miss the announcement — Pickle season will be here before you know it! 💚

Braxton Spurlock #99 and Knox Spurlock #7 brought their Pickle Power today to the Mobile Food Pantry in Burns!

Huge thanks to the Dickson County Health Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Lutheran Church in Burns for hosting such an incredible event.

In just a couple of hours, we helped serve more than 300 families right here in our own community. The need is great—even close to home—and we’re so thankful to have the opportunity to roll up our sleeves and give back.

Proud of these boys for showing that being a Pickle means more than just playing ball—it’s about heart, teamwork, and service. 💚🥒

Today, our Pickles traded in their baseball gloves for something even greater — the opportunity to serve.

Our boys volunteered with PALS, an incredible local organization here in Dickson that provides programs, friendships, and inclusive opportunities for individuals with special needs. Their mission is to create a space where everyone belongs, learns, and thrives — and today, our team got to be a part of that.

What started as a chance to serve others quickly became something much deeper — service to us. Watching our boys step up as peers, encouragers, and friends was powerful. They showed up with open hearts and left with a new understanding of what teamwork truly means.

What a blessing to have organizations like PALS right here in our community. What a blessing to have young men who lead with compassion. And what a blessing it is to be reminded that sometimes, the biggest wins don’t happen on the field.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10

Unfortunately bracket play was cancelled for the rain today which means last night was our final tournament game in Jackson for the fall season!

We could not be more proud of all of these boys!
