September 2026 Newsletter

Have you noticed the changing of the season in the last week? Obviously our schedules ramp up with school, sports, and all sorts of other rhythms that change with the season, but have you noticed nature? I opened the shop door the other day to the delightful smell of autumn! The sun was out and warm but not the full heat of summer. The air had a touch of cool crispness and the realization that we have stepped out of summer into autumn really hit me. I do love autumn...

Pumpkin Dried Flower Class #2
Our first scheduled pumpkin dried flower class sold out! So, we've scheduled another class for October 7, 2026, at 6:30pm. Please reserve your spot. Once again, we are joined by Jamie of Allison Acres Farms (http://www.allisonacresfarm.com/) , who provides the dried flowers.

New Local Photography
We've partnered with a new local artist, Stick & Stones Design Photography. Petra, owner and photographer, has an eye for goodness, truth, and beauty that resonates deeply with me. Petra enjoys capturing the beauty of Michigan and other sites across the US on her travels. Her photography ranges from lakes, mountains, old barns, to the flora and fauna in the garden. Her work is truly beautiful.

Trust Your Nose: Autumn is in the Air
Cyprus Rose Candles, another local creator, creates candles that fill your home with delightful scents. We now have autumn scented candles in the shop. Add these to your space to bring the changing season into your home.

Blessings,

Wendy

Just in, these pot holders are so fun! I love the colors that lean into Autumn. The round design is a beautiful look as you set your table for a meal. (washable, so practical too!)

A little decoration would be lovely as we step into Autumn!
Our next class will be on September 29th @ 6:30 pm. We will be making arrangements with dried flowers in pumpkins. Don’t miss this one!
Jamie Andrews will be bringing an array of dried flowers
