Attention to detail, when close enough isnt good enough. Most people would say the first two are sub moa and thats a deer down. I say bull cookies!! Sub 1/4 if I can. Ideally 1 hole if it the smoke stick can do it. Attention to the details and willingness to do the extra work to make it right. Things that lack these days. Well not here, not while im in the shop, not while the lord gives me breath to use the gifts he has given me!
35 rem, 35 whelen, 45-70, and possibly 30-30 win. Its time to bring out some old school heavy hitters.

September 11th, 2001
A day many of us will never forget. We remember what we were doing, who we were with, where we were, and honestly probably the smell of the room we were standing in.
Today is a day where our lives changed forever but some just didn’t know it, yet.
The man behind the business was in boot camp on September 11th, 2001. With absolutely no idea the events unfolding 2,830 miles away. He was just a young naive man wanting to serve his country. Little did he know how much his life was about to change.
Meanwhile his mom at home doing mom things watching the news and knowing her life is about to change forever. Unsure what is in store for her son and his journey in the United States Marine Corp.
On a lighter side one of us in the company was playing in a Clifford house 🤣
I tell those stories because we all have one. Some peoples lives were more affected than others but doesn’t dismiss the weight we all carry.
Tell us your September 11th, 2001 story. Remember some people will only ever hear the stories passed on or learn about in history books.
Today we remember the 2,977 lives that were lost and the countless families whose lives were changed.
God Bless the United States of America 🇺🇸
A slow hit is better than a fast miss any day of the week. It doesnt matter how fast it goes if it doesnt hit consistently. Ill throw them the speed of a rock if they go in the same spot everytime!
Now a days speed is all the rage, sometimes youd be surprised the accuracy you get just slowing down a little. Holds true for lots of things in this world.
Navigating life can feel like a lot sometimes. Knowing the difference between grid north or the north on the map and magnetic north the true north of your compass may be all that sets you apart. You will need both to navigate. One is the true center of who you are, the other is the world you operate in. Its always changing. Never give up your true north!!

Hunting is coming!!
Accepting the minimum standard sets you and those around you to fail. It breeds minimum effort, minimum competence, minimum ownership, and minimum autonomy. Creates full dependence on the 1 percenters, the high performers. What happens when there aren't any 1 percenters left? Who then? What then? Enter into everything you do with full conviction and purpose. The minimum entry shouldn't be the plateau of your performance. Competition breeds excellence, training builds a repetition the dogs of hell can't break. It builds confidence in self and in others and it builds trust! Organizations move at the speed of trust. As a training officer my philosophy was simple: Don't practice until you get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong!!
