The Infatuations - Detroit Block Party came out 11 years ago today.
Released on 5/10/2014 with our first "Detroit Block Party" festival taking place that evening at Saint Andrew's Hall with Ty Stone & The Truth, SHOTGUN SOUL and Stereo Jane.

Kendrick Hardaway will be performing as a part of Bass Day this Saturday, July 20th at the Aretha's Jazz Café. Check out the video from this morning.
"Hundreds of top bass players from Detroit, including Stevie Wonder's bass player Nate Watts, will be in attendance for both the Detroit Bass Players annual photo at high noon on the grounds of The Motown Museum and then heading to the Detroit Bass Day performance at Aretha’s Jazz Cafe at 2pm. The day’s events include performances from an elite group of bass players all whom have been inspired by the legacy, creativity and musical genius of Detroit’s own Stevie Wonder."

Kendrick Hardaway's sister, Crystal, set up a Go Fund me to help Kendrick and his family. Please help if you are able to and please share. Thank you!
"Hello everyone my name is Crystal, I am the sister of Kendrick Hardaway; on 2/7/2019 my brother was involved in an hit in run accident. He was walking home from work and while crossing the street a speeding driver hit him, threw him several feet in the air, he then fell onto the hood of the car and tumbled into the street. The driver left him their in the street. An unknown good civilian stopped and called the police and notified the family. Unfortunately he has suffered a broken hip and other small injuries. He will have to go through months of physical therapy to regain ability to walk again. Kendrick is the sole provider of his household and is now unable to work and support himself or children. Please if you find it in your heart to donate any amount to assist in supporting him during this time it will be greatly appreciated."

The Friday service will be made available for viewing live online and on television.
For TV viewers in Detroit, the service will be broadcast live by several stations, including WDIV-TV (Channel 4), WJBK-TV (Channel 2) and WXYZ-TV (Channel 7).
Nationally, Fox News and CNN plan to air portions of the service live.
