One of the most valuable things I learned in childhood is a love of books and reading. And that love continues in adulthood! I would not be who I am today without books and I hope every child has the opportunity to fall in love with reading. 🩵

Every year I get an urge to watch “The Munsters”! Unfortunately it’s on Peacock 😒 Last year I watched “Bewitched” and “What We Do In The Shadows” instead. And I always love me a good Halloween themed TV episode! 🤩

When September rolls around I always get excited for new tv. Growing up it was the traditional start to the new television season!

Some of my favorite TV shows are sitcoms- I actually always try to have a sitcom I’m currently watching! They can be brand new, new to me, or old favorites but the most important thing is that they make me laugh. And we need more laughter in the world, especially now!

It may not be a Monday in August, and I may have already shouted out this Great Lake earlier this month- but this is a much needed second Lake Ontario appreciation post! 🩵

The two days I spent on her shores in Canada were two of the best days I had last year. My American nervous system immediately exhaled.

Thank you to our Northern (and in my case, Eastern) neighbors- for your hospitality, great sights, amazing food, and general awesomeness. I can’t wait to visit again! 🇨🇦

Oh Lake Erie! 🌊 The “hometown” Great Lake if you will. The one I’ve visited most and spent the most time swimming in. It’s where “I need to go sit in a Great Lake” came from.
