United States President Joe Biden has issued a posthumous pardon for Jamaica’s first National Hero, Marcus Mosiah Garvey, nearly 102 years after his 1923 conviction for mail fraud—a case long criticised for its racial and political overtones. The decision from the outgoing Democratic leader follows sustained advocacy from several US lawmakers legislators, including Democratic Congresswoman Yvette D Clarke, who chairs the Congressional Black Caucus.

Nigel Lanier, Morgan Patton, and Jess'Lyn Sanders get an up close view of the exciting Super Bowl events in action while learning how the magic is made behind the scenes. The HBCU Experienceship program strengthens the NFL's commitment of partnering with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and gives students real-world knowledge of careers associated with making something of this scale possible. We ensure that educators have the tools to create post-secondary cultures that are HBCU inclusive.
