Who doesnt love a car show and fireworks? To celebrate americas birthday, we decided to combine the two and put on a Cars under the Stars event.

We are going to be just blocks away from the Detroit river, where 3 barges will be shooting over 10,000 total fireworks as a part of the flagship Detroit fireworks show. We will be 8 floors up and have an absolute prime view of the fireworks, as well as 8 floors full of cars.

Gates Open: 5 PM
Fireworks Start: 10pm

All makes and models are welcome including supercars, muscle, European, JDM, trucks, and bikes. We will also have music, food, and vendors there.

Yes you are permitted to bring a lawnchair to sit and watch the fireworks. Everyone will be permitted to watch the fireworks from the roof.

We will be strictly enforcing any reckless driving or any excessive revving. We will also be enforcing the detroit curfew.

To kick off the Detroit Grand Prix, we took over the rooftop of the Bricktown Garage for an incredible night meet from 7 PM to midnight.

Right in the heart of downtown, we packed the garage with an unbelievable lineup of supercars and top-tier builds. With the Detroit skyline in the background and the Grand Prix track running right next to us, the vibe was unmatched.

A massive thank you to the team at Bricktown Garage for hosting us and helping pull off the ultimate kickoff.

The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is coming to town and it is going to be massive.

THE MAIN STAGE
In partnership with Mobil 1 and Walmart, the Hot Wheels Legends Tour is searching for the next custom build to be immortalized as an official 1:64 scale die cast toy sold in over 150 countries.

OPEN CAR MEET
Modded Detroit will be hosting a massive community car meet surrounding the official show. While the 150 plus pre registered builds compete in the center of the lot, the surrounding area is open for everyone to enter their ride. Make sure to arrive early for a prime spot!

What is happening at the show:
• 150 plus pre registered builds competing for the Legends title
• 20 curated cars hand picked by Modded Detroit
• Life size Hot Wheels cars on display
• Mitch from Modded Detroit will be a judge for the event!

WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?
Built, not bought, is the spirit of the tour. All makes and models are encouraged to enter based on:
• Authenticity: Does it look like a real life Hot Wheels?
• Creativity: We want unique designs that stand out from the 25,000 models made over the last 50 years.
• Garage Spirit: How did Hot Wheels inspire your love for cars and your personal build?

The winner will join the Garage of Legends alongside icons like the 2JetZ, Texas Toot, and the 1969 Volvo P1800 Gasser.

Ten global finalists will eventually face off in the Grand Finale this November. Let’s show Hot Wheels that there is only one motor city, and make it the biggest stop on the tour!

Our first-ever Snapchat Exclusive Pop-Up was a massive success! Completely filling up Dearborn's new Peace Park - West and its dual parking garages.

Last time we posted a pop-up across all platforms, 2,000 cars showed up in 24 hours notice. We only have room for about 500 tonight, so we are starting a series of Snapchat only pop-up meets for the summer. The goal is to keep these chill and peaceful, and actually giving us opportunities to interact with our group! Add us on Snapchat to get the posts. This is an official sanctioned event with the City of Dearborn and Dearborn PD. They will be on-site and they are ticketing anyone doing burnouts or revving excessively!

5,000 cars deep at our season opener car show...

What a way to kick off the 2026 Car Season! If you think the car scene is dying, you definitely weren't at our season opener car show last Saturday. Our season opener car show was absolutely insane! 10,000+ people showed up, and the line of cars didn't end.

Michigan's Car Scene is one of the best in the world. We proved that with the variety we had out. Seeing 250+ supercars parked up right next to JDM tuners, American muscle, European imports, lifted trucks, motorcycles, and off-road builds is exactly what we’re about. It’s never just about the price tag of the build; it’s about the actual work put in and the community showing up to respect it.

The energy was 11/10. We had 10+ food trucks and had 20+ vendors set up in the mix, making it a full-blown festival for the city. Shoutout to every single person who drove out to make this the biggest one yet. We’re just getting started for the summer. Stay tuned for more events!
