As we close out the year, we’re tipping our caps to the hardest working grounds crew in baseball.

It was another incredible year to amaze, inspire and unite our community! As the year comes to a close, we are proud to celebrate and reflect on some of our 2024 highlights:

-Engaged 3,582 kids through diamond sports
-Donated 143,333 tickets to bring deserving members of the community to Tigers games
-Supported 7 leagues with field cleanups
-Recognized 28 Game Changers making a difference in our community in partnership with the Red Wings and Comerica Bank
-Donated approx. 2,500 baseballs
-Provided just over 1,300 uniforms to Detroit based leagues through the Tiny Tigers program
-Made 840 memorabilia donations to charities across Michigan
-Celebrated the Tigers Nike RBI Senior Baseball and Softball teams who were 2024 East Regional Champions having both advanced to the Nike RBI World Series
-Supported local veterans, cancer patients and survivors, youth organizations and more

We are saddened by the passing of former Tigers outfielder Charlie Maxwell and share our condolences with his family and loved ones.

A native of Paw Paw, Michigan, Maxwell played 8 seasons in Detroit, was a two-time All-Star and at 97 years old, was our oldest living alum.
