Meet Taylor, our Summer 2026 Intern! 🌟

Taylor is an Environment undergraduate and Environmental Justice master’s student at the University of Michigan with interests in storytelling, community engagement, and all things DIY.

This summer, she’ll be supporting Bulk Space Projects through bookbinding, artist interviews, creative archiving, and a book project exploring Detroit drag culture.

When she’s not at Bulk Space, you can find her studying for the LSAT, reading, hiking, journaling, or searching for the perfect Instagram feed.

Join us at The Boyer Campbell Building during MdW Summit Detroit June 26th 7-10 for a series of public events celebrating artist-run projects across the Midwest. 
✨ Facing Present Dangers / Building Future Worlds — an exhibition featuring artists and organizations imagining collective futures in uncertain times. 
📚 Books & Multiples Fair — browse artist books, zines, prints, posters, editions, and other artist-made works from dozens of independent publishers and artist-run organizations from across the region. 
The MdW Summit brings together more than 300 artist organizations, collectives, publishers, and cultural workers for a week of exhibitions, conversations, workshops, and exchange in Detroit. 
All are welcome.

REFLECTIONS ON LEGACY RECAP

We had such a fun time at the Reflections on Legacy workshop last Saturday! Particpants explored risograph printmaking while reflecting on personal, diasporic and ancestral histories.

Applications for Emerging Curators have been extended to April 2nd!

The program runs from June 1st to August 31st and will include benefits like mentorship from art professionals, access to BULK Space resources & a public platform to realize an exhibition projects.

Curators selected will also recieve a $1000 honorarium & $1000 in project support. The resulting exhibition will bepresented at Talking Dolls.
