Hi!!!! I’m doing mini sessions in Des Moines! Wild I know!!
These are name your sessions so it can be family, couple, solo shoot or whatever your heart desires! Mother’s Day is also coming up so fellas here ya go!
I have 12 slots available for each day(will add more if needed) starting at sunset and working my way backwards so if you those sunset photos act fast!!
Location yet to be decide depending on what a few areas look like but will be around Des Moines area! For whatever reason if the weather is bad I will either refund your money or we will set up another shoot for a different day! Whatever works best for us!!

I've been guilty of it myself but I see a lot of people putting themselves in groups that are "cool and fun" but don't have the same types of goals or visions or values and just begin coasting.
Go be social and meet new people but invest your time with the ones who want to win and want to see you win just as much!

Forgiveness
I think this is something a lot of people struggle with including myself.
There’s things that happen in life to us that don’t seem fair or seem petty but are they really that big of a deal? Maybe but zoom out and look at the big picture.
Is the thing that happened going to “ruin” your whole life forever or just as long as you let it?
We can’t control what others do but we can control how we react to them.
Forgiveness is about showing love and compassion and knowing that things won’t always go our way and being ok with that. Forgiveness also shows growth and maturity. It doesn’t doesn’t mean you have to continually give yourself to that person or whoever it may be but it’s tells them that “hey, I understand what happened, I learned and grew from it, and I will no longer allow it to affect my life.”
Forgiveness is not necessarily made for their sake but yours and to allow you to be set free of you’re angry and guilt and to see clearer.
As long as you can see it in your heart and understand that no matter what happens you’ll be ok then I got news for you, you’ll be ok!

Don't give up on yourself..
This world seems like a dark place and its got it's moments for everyone but you have to know you belong.
Find that light in the dark no matter how bright or dim it might be and chase it. It's those moments that make us stronger.

How strong are your relationships?
In church service yesterday this topic got brought up. The pastor talk about how influential the fathers presence can be in their child’s life especially a son.
The sons who’s fathers weren’t present in their kids life were extremely more likely to get into trouble with the law, abuse drugs and even be violent.
Sadly this static can still be true when they are present. The only difference was the fathers effort to connect with they child and build a relationship.
Just like with God, our relationships are only as strong as our effort we put into them and this can related to any relationship we have.
If you look at your relationships whether it be family, friends or a significant other, the strongest ones aren’t necessarily the longest but the ones we spent the most time with. The ones we’ve put effort in to get to know those people and understand them and who they are. Build on those and give this people a foundation to work from especially the with kids. Be an example and help them through situations to understand.
That’s why I love the Verse above. It’s exactly that and what He wants from us and that’s just to get to know us and for us to get to know Him.

My new home for now until then.
Moving is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but things just never felt right.. until now.
To say I’m nervous and scared is an understatement but so is how excited I am for this new chapter! I’m not sure where this path is going to take me but I can promise you I know I’m on the right one!
I feel like this has been a long time coming and though life hasn’t always been that easy I’m very thankful for the one I’ve had and the people who continually support me.
I will be moving the second week of June! As far as Iowa I will be coming back for the weddings I already I have booked for this year so no worries to those couples out there!! I will still book Iowa sessions if people are wanting them and those details we can discuss over the phone!
Cheers to the next chapter in life!

Following the word of God
has really changed my life in so many positive
ways I can't explain how thankful I am.
It's truly amazing to look back at times that's
were so dark and moments I didn't think I was
going to get through and to finally understanding why I'm at where I am now gives
me goosebumps.
To know I have a purpose and a calling as we all do and have a found a way to spread that love is what makes every day greater than the last.
Don't give up on life because it doesn't make
sense or you think you don't belong in this
world. Find the One who created you and loves
you and you'll find your purpose.

It was wild and windy but we made the most of Kaelyn and Titus's big day and I'm so excited for the both of them! I'm currently getting their blog post put together so for now here's a couple sneaks!

HELLO 2023 SENIORS!!
With warmer weather approaching and life getting back to normal I couldn’t be more excited for this coming year!! I’m even more excited being that it’s my brothers senior year as well but also leaves myself asking “Where has time gone?!”
Don’t let time get away from you either so get your ideas flowing and outfits together and let’s make some memories!!
The next 10 seniors to get on the books will also receive $150 credit towards their print collections as well!

As I'm plugging away through photos I couldn't help but smile and laugh at how much fun this was! You're never too old to have fun!

Just wow! It's always great to be able to see this amazing family and watch them grow! They will alway be life long friends of mine and I'm so excited to see where this journey takes them!
Drake and I grew up together and I'll be there first to say we've been through some things. To see him now with Marley who's absolutely beautiful and amazing and to have second little one on the way and just really watch him turn his whole life around and become a new and better person I just couldn't be more proud of him.

First wedding of the year couldn't have went any better and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend it with!!

HEY HEY SENIORS!!! I still have spots available for your time to show everyone what you're made of!! Working one on one with people is one of my favorite things to do so let's make a thing of it!!

I know it's a crazy world right now but you shouldn't let that stop you from living your best life!!
