This special AViD event is being hosted in partnership with the Des Moines Arts Festival and the Des Moines Art Center. All AViD events are made possible thanks to the support of the DMPL foundation and their generous donors.

We are thrilled to partner with Molly's Cupcakes Des Moines on a series of sweet storytimes at the library this summer! The programs will be happening at all DMPL locations, but space is limited so we recommend registering early.

Professor Bechtel from Wartburg College visited four DMPL locations last week! Kids got to meet his rare animals including an axolotl. This is the magic of Summer Reading at DMPL.
