Farewell from The Boys of Rockingham 🎸
Hard to believe it all started back in 2010 — The Boys of Rockingham, which I co-founded with my cousin Dan Leblanc, feels like a lifetime ago. What a ride it’s been! We had the pleasure of playing with so many super talented musicians who each brought something unique to the table and made the whole experience unforgettable.
A few important mentions — Buddy Sullivan, Jeremy Richard, Billy Ferraro, David Duarte, Tim Paulding, Dan Carter, Lenny Mongeau, Chris Shrader, Jim Gagne, Larry DeBenedictus, Daniel Latimer , and Stevie Dillard— along with many others who joined us for a show or two. Every single one made it fun and memorable. 🎶
As this chapter comes to a close, I’m sure Dan will continue his musical journey down in North Carolina, and I’ll be keeping the music going here in New Hampshire with some new talented friends — Frank Price & Kurt Ramm. From our early beginnings at Midnight Rodeo and the Battle of the Bands days, to tearing it up across the New England circuit — Loretta’s Last Call, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, ManchVegas, and so many more — Dan has been a true rock star every step of the way.
A fellow guitarist, musician, and all-around great guy, Dan’s passion for music and performing has inspired everyone lucky enough to share a stage (or a beer) with him.
Now he’s off to start a new chapter down in North Carolina, and while we’ll miss him here in New England, we know the music will keep rolling wherever he goes.
Here’s to new adventures, great gigs, and good times ahead, brother. You’ll be missed — but never forgotten. 🤘🎶
