Hello all!

AkoyaDance is beginning our next adventure... a full length production on Alzheimer’s. We are still in the beginning stages and are now starting to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association here in Denver, Colorado. Vanessa Ann, is looking for anyone that has had experience with the Alzheimer’s disease, either through a family member or friend. We are looking for anyone that is willing to talk be interviewed by Vanessa about their experience. All research gathered will be incorporated and used as inspiration into our final production.

Due to current projects class will start up again in September! Sundays 12-1:15.

Alright Dancers!

AkoyaDance will be starting classes again on Sundays from 12-1:15 starting August 20th and running through December unless told otherwise! Classes will be held at ArtGym Denver for a 10$ drop in rate or 80$ 10 class card (2 free classes)

Keep this in mind for your fall and winter dance life!

We're looking at starting up professional level classes again this August-December... looking for interested dancers and possible days and times that are best to get a better idea of what our dance community needs! Please feel free to comment and throw some ideas.

To all my beautiful friends and family throughout Colorado and beyond,

AkoyaDance and our director Vanessa Ann is proud to announce that we have booked another gig at ArtGym Denver on May 25!! We will be premiering a new work, watch out!! We are also looking to show this work on May 26 at the Dairy Performing Arts Center in Boulder, Colorado.

I know that's not enough information but don't sweat my friends, there will be more information as soon as possible. As for now, this is a movement showcase that run will for a month long which is ran by ArtGym Denver and will encompass many forms of movement though performance, video, photo etc. We are extremely excited to be a part of such a creative and influential ArtGym family. As always, we ask for you to show up and support us. However, we know that many of our follows won't be able to attend, so if you can't be there but want to help the company pay its dancers and fellow artists please contact AkoyaDance or Vanessa Ann to find out how to donate to our art form.
