Big day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! 🦒
Rusin Concrete Construction brought us in to help pour 50 yards of sidewalks at the new giraffe exhibit, and our 38M - skillfully operated by Ed Sampson - handled it with ease.
Always proud to support projects that bring communities together. 🤝

Travel Advisory: A temporary traffic pattern will be implemented on Stroh Road starting Thursday, Oct. 23. Eastbound traffic starting at the Motsenbocker/Crowfoot Valley Road intersection will be routed onto the newly constructed asphalt, then shifted back to the existing pavement west of the newly constructed bridge spanning Cherry Creek. This temporary traffic route will allow for construction between the newly paved road and the existing westbound lanes.
The project team expects this temporary traffic route to remain in place for approximately one month. Stroh Ranch Soccer Fields access will be maintained through the duration of this construction phase. Motorists are asked to please be mindful of speed and construction equipment in the roadway.

About the Stroh Road Improvements Project:
Stroh Road is receiving major improvements between J Morgan Boulevard and Motsenbocker/Crowfoot Valley Road, which began in April. This project will include roadway widening to two lanes in each direction, construction of a new, two-lane, eastbound bridge span over Cherry Creek, upgrades to storm and sewer lines, and the addition of new sidewalk along the north side of Stroh Road. Additional connections to the Cherry Creek Trail and the new Lemon Gulch Trail are also planned, as is a short extension of J Morgan Boulevard to connect to the existing South Metro Fire Station. This project is expected to be completed this fall.

Video Description: A montage of aerial videos shows phases of the Stroh Road Improvements Project including construction of a new bridge, earthwork, and vehicles traveling along the existing Stroh Road. 10/22/2025
