After graduating from Columbia College with a journalism degree, I quickly dropped my pen, and picked up a camera. I have always loved storytelling, which I found I could do much better with imagery than words. This was my third year doing 5 minute photo sessions in the park for and ! They hire me and treat their clients to family photos and donuts every fall. I love these fast paced sessions and seeing these families grow over the years.

I’ve been friends with for many, many years. I think he was one of the first people to ever buy my art and put it in his house. I absolutely loved meeting and photographing his family, and this was one of my favorite shoots of the summer. A perfect night in Humboldt park.

Lauren + Steven (part I of probably III:) I met when I first moved to Denver a few years ago and we became fast friends over margaritas and porch hangs. She asked me to photograph her wedding in Italy two years in advance and I began counting down the days. It was such a gorgeous day, and despite the looming possibility of rain, it held out and was perfect. Lauren and Steven are a dream team, and I see a big awesome future for them. So honored they allowed me to photograph this day.

Finally getting around to sharing this incredible Kentucky wedding from December 2nd. I had the absolute honor of photographing my sisters, sister-in-law and her new wife.
