The Lord will comfort your troubled heart when you trust that you are free to cry out to Him for help.

Psalm 18:6🔥
In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.

🟥Distress = affliction, anguish, trouble
🟥Cried = to be free, cry aloud, cry for help, call for help, shout for help, cry, audible cry like a baby crying to God
🟥Heard = attentive, discern, consider, hear intelligently, understand, listen
🟥His temple = the heavenly place/throne room

As a child of God, you have the privilege of knowing that in your affliction, your anguish, and your trouble that you are FREE to cry out for help to the God of Heaven who is attentive to your cries like a mother is attentive to the cries of her baby. God is waiting with discernment and He is able to understand every cry. He does NOT just hear your cry, but He hears the heart of your cry. He knows why your heart and soul is crying out even when you don’t know why in the world you are so troubled. Our mighty God is ready and waiting for your cry. Let your heart be desperate for Him and cry aloud. Allow Him to attend to you as HE sees fit.❤

What saddens me is realizing more and more that many are not following the Word of God. Instead, we are following the traditions of men, ourselves, our ancestors, zodiac signs, another gospel, what grandma said, cults disguised as churches, what the culture says, false teachers, false prophets, and fear… Our hearts should break.

I can’t fully explain how deeply this saddens me, and I know I am not the only one. But I also know I don’t have to carry the weight of this burden alone. For those of you who carry this same burden in your heart, now is not the time to shut down even if you feel like it. You simply can’t. You must continue to take this burden to the Lord and allow Him to strengthen you to continue:

📌 Interceding with compassion when you feel heavy.
📌 Speaking the truth, even if rooms go silent and people don’t want to hear it.
📌 Going where He tells you to go to be effective in your calling.
📌 Standing on God’s Word, even if you are the only one.
📌 Knowing that God is with you.
📌 Influencing—and not being influenced (as God told Jeremiah).
📌 Upsetting the works of darkness for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
📌 Crying aloud!
📌 Setting the captives free!!

I am praying for those who are carrying the weight of watching the Body be bewitched. You don’t have to carry this alone. Rest in the loving care of Jesus Christ. He will help you carry this load.
Surround yourself with other righteous believers who understand your calling and can intercede, encourage, and provide godly, Spirit-filled counsel on this journey. You are not alone. God sees you!

Rest… it’s your portion.
