Reimagining the old to make it new again...ensuring it's Knot Forgotten! Why Knot Forgotten? Four years ago, I started on this journey to follow my passion.

I was a mom struggling with postpartum depression and was looking for a productive outlet to try and
heal. That is when Knot Forgotten was born. Knot- represents the knots in wood. Forgotten- because in addition to working with wood, I was repurposing old furniture. Together, I was “Reimagining the old and making it new again...ensuring it's Knot Forgotten!”

Candlelight Vigil – Honoring the Quiet Grief of Mother’s Day
Thursday, May 9th | 7:30 PM | Founders Plaza, Brighton (SW corner of Bridge & Main)

Mother’s Day can be a deeply emotional time — full of love, but also loss. Whether you’re missing your mom or grandma… or you're a mother carrying the unimaginable grief of a child no longer here… this evening is for you.

We’ll gather together at Founders Plaza to hold space for the grief that often goes unseen. Candles will be provided by Knot Forgotten, and a quiet moment of reflection will be shared as we honor our loved ones and stories held in our hearts.

This is not a formal ceremony — no speeches, no pressure. Just a sacred space to remember, to light a flame, and to know you’re not alone.

You are welcome here — whether you know this kind of loss personally or want to stand beside someone who does. Come as you are. We will meet you there.

When I became a mom, my world shifted in the most beautiful, challenging, and unexpected ways. I have six incredible kids who are the light of my life—my reason for so much of what I do. But the truth is, motherhood isn’t always easy.

Postpartum hit me hard, though I didn’t realize that’s what it was until after my second baby (with an almost 9-year gap). By the time I had my third, I knew I couldn’t keep pretending I was okay.

Knot Forgotten became my way out—a place where I could rediscover myself, piece by piece. And now, in the back of Knot Forgotten, I’ve created a space for other women and moms to come as they are, no matter where they’re at in their journey.

Because let’s be honest—parenting is hard. We all need someone who’s in it with us or has been through it, to remind us that we’re not alone.

Life took me in directions I never saw coming. When I was faced with the unimaginable—burying a son—Knot Forgotten came through for me again. It became a way to honor my son through the work I love and a way to keep going.

If you’re a mom who needs that reminder, who needs a place to just be, I want to connect with you. You are not alone in this. Comment a ❤️ below, or message me privately if that feels better for you. I’d love to send you something special from my heart to yours.

We’re stronger together

🥁Please! Here we go!!!! EeEeEkKkK!

This space has been a labor of love, a vision that took over a year and a half to bring to life. When I first got the keys, I was five months pregnant, standing in a room full of possibilities (and A LOT of ‘stuff’—if you know, you know!). Through twists and turns, I created this space with you in mind.

I’m proud to share my heart and what I’ve been working on—not because it’s perfect, but because it’s genuinely me
