Earlier this year a dear friend who wishes to remain anonymous gifted me this Juno 106 manufactuted in 1984. This example is in need refurbishment and I've slowly been buying parts and learning what I can about these machines. Restoring a synth, much less an iconic piece like this is a huge departure from my usual projects but I'm really excited to get this thing going if not a little nervous to start wrenching on this beast. I'll be mailing the motherboard to a guy in Chicago soon while I dig into the rest. I can't want to hear it in all its glory and include it on the next Loose Charm record. More to come!

Well hell still wrapping my mind around what an incredible show we had on Friday night. Made some new friends, saw some friends I hadn't seen in an embarrassingly long time, and all the LC boyz had a blast. Hugs, smiles, and more hugs and I don't mind telling you I needed it.
