I made these for New Year's Eve last year so very few actually saw them and then this year? Well, I'm late, opps I forgot!

But really SO easy. It's meringue but baked and hardened and then topped with fruit and whipped cream. Make them for guests...they will think you worked all day! 😋

I first made this dessert when I lived in North Carolina, a lifetime ago! It's still a favorite and best of all; it is so simple to make.

I first starting making this batter for Hot Buttered Rum cocktails before I moved to Colorado...over 30 years ago! But we still love it today. It's mixed, frozen, and ready for company in an instant!

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲
I've made English Toffee for years and we loved it; I imagine many of you have as well. And then one day a friend offered me some from a Christmas gift she had gotten from one of her students.

It was different and better and hard to describe. The toffee flavor was great but it had something a bit extra and whatever it was, the toffee was a hint lighter and softer, not quite as brittle. How could it be toffee and not be brittle? Like I said, hard to describe!

I asked her if she could get the recipe and this is it. It doesn't matter how you include your chocolate or your nuts...it's one little teeny addition of something unexpected...SO good!

I never got quite onboard with the coffee drink but I love these cupcakes made with espresso, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger that are topped with a mascarpone and whipped cream frosting, all topped with caramel sauce. SO YUM! 😋

My daughter introduced me to this recipe for Tomatillo Salsa Verde years ago...and now it's a summer staple. Though they may look it, tomatillos are not green tomatoes; they are better!
