Like we don’t already pay a ton in other taxes, state, IFTA, local registration!

According to an article in the WZZM13, Michigan Rep. Phil Skaggs has introduced House Bill 4735, aiming to charge trucks over 59,999 pounds a $0.0285-per-mile fee to fund road repairs, modeled after Kentucky's system. The bill could generate up to $150 million annually for infrastructure improvements. A $40 flat fee for 10-day short-term travel is also proposed. The legislation includes penalties for non-compliance and has been referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Skaggs emphasized the need for a fair and sustainable way to ensure heavy trucks help pay for the roads they heavily impact.

Tarping isn’t always about protecting it from weather, it about holding down light and thin loads such as fiber board or foam insulation.

She’s stays moving!
Rule of thumb always have two straps at the beginning and end of load!
The 20 ft rule does not apply DOT says “securement must be secured by two straps in between the first 10 feet of a large securement at the beginning and end.”
