Our very own leader and Clarinetist Roger Campbell is a huge soccer (aka Football) fan! Today starts the World Cup at venues across the US, Canada, and Mexico. You'll find Roger glued to the TV...and at one game in Boston on June 19 - go Scotland!

We have some world travelers in this band! Our vibraphonist Rick Weingarten is in Thailand right now, visiting his home there and his wife's family. He'll be there for the month of June - roasting in the heat and humidity! He doesn't get to play any Vibes there, unfortunately, so he'll be ready to get back swingin' in Colorado in July!

It's been said that Rick Weingarten plays Vibes like a rabbit in a den of foxes! He is one of the most talented in the world!

We have two multi-linguists in the band - Andy Weyl and Mike McCullough! Mike can sing in 6 languages - English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Latin (anyone know of a good jazz tune with Latin lyrics?!). Andy is fluent in multiple languages, including English and Danish (plus others he won't admit to!). Rick Weingarten knows English and a little Tai. And don't forget we all speak the universal language of music...which might just be the most difficult language of all!
