Another happy customer reunited with a full restoration of his original Dyno Compe!
Why shouldn’t things be this way. So little carbon footprint, and not to mention healthy.
GREAT quick write up by Colorado Mtn Bike Exchange. You all have heard us discussing these very points:
Pricing on used bikes is high. I'm seeing 3-5 year old bikes selling 30% above what bicyclebluebook suggests. Its definitely a sellers market, which you all probably know by now.
The popular bikes are Specialized, Trek, followed by Santa Cruz, Yeti, Commencal and Giant.
The big demand bikes are Full suspension, medium and small.
Things to consider:
1. I heard this weekend from 2 LBS' that tires are going to be a problem in the next few months. They're having to have already bought large orders and are hedging against a supply crunch. Its feasible that we're going to see prices jump. I spend 200.00 on new tires this weekend, as an example.
2. a lot of bikes you see coming in to LBS's (they seem to post those for some odd reason), are spoken for or get snatched up immediately. I've heard of people flying to Colorado from other states to pickup their bikes. We're at that point folks. If you see the bike you want, you literally need to buy it.
3. Parts and new bike crunch is going to last until next year. From brakes to chainrings, Low end MTB and High end mtb. It doesn't matter. the bike shops are expecting problems well into 2022.

Sourced another bike for one of our riders! Looking for a new ride? Let us know your budget and we will hook you up. It’s been a challenging year with inflation due to COVID and the rise in outdoor recreation popularity.
