These photographs represent many subjects but the emphasis is on flowers (especially close-ups) and on special photographic effects.

Found out a couple of days ago that one of the pictures I entered in the Gateway to the Rockies art show was chosen "Best of Show" for photography (show includes more than just photography). Opening reception is tomorrow (10/2--5:00-7:30 p.m. at the Aurora History Museum, 15051 E. Alameda Parkway

These three images were accepted into the Kaleidoscope show at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO. The one titled "Mysterious Gateways" r eceived an Honorable Mention award

Tonight was the opening of the photography show at Louisville, CO. I learned that I had been given an award for "Artistic Achievement" (more or less "Honorable Mention"??) The award was for my image: "Sidelong Impression of a Gerbera Daisy".

I was especially pleased after I learned that there had been about 850 entries from which only about 100 were chosen to hang in the show--and I managed to have TWO accepted, and to have one of them win an award!
