I’ve been dressing up since I was a kid, but as I’ve gotten older, the focus on really looking like the person I’m dressing as has increased. As a mom and a lady with both a full time job and a small business to run, I don’t always have the time or funds to make the fanciest of cosplays, but I always have time to make them fun. This is my hub to share what I’ve done and swap tips and tricks with people who are far more skilled than I am - or people who are far more skilled that I can help.

Fun, Friends & Cosplay
For me, cosplay is about fun. I’ve always loved dressing up, but it was 2009 when I got my first cosplay together (Dr. Horrible from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog) and headed to A-Kon. Since then I’ve tried a lot of different things and played a lot of different characters. I do it because I love the characters, and I do it because I adore the people I’ve met.
Cosplay is for EVERYONE. No matter your age, your size, your race, your... well, your whatever, do the thing. Be the person. Have the fun. Don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t.
