We’re excited to share our current list of potential tournaments through July 2027!

As always, tournament participation will depend on player interest, team availability, registration deadlines, and final event details, but we wanted to give families an early look at what we’re targeting as we continue building opportunities for our players to compete, travel, and grow.

We’re looking forward to another incredible year of hockey, memories, friendships, and development both on and off the rink.

As the Rinkster Scorpions Pro Roller Hockey Club heads out to our FIRST EVER tournament as an organization, we couldn’t be more excited to officially announce our inaugural Pro Roller Hockey roster for the Wish Cup in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is a massive moment for our program.

What started as a vision is now becoming reality as we prepare to compete on one of the biggest stages in Roller Hockey against top level competition from across the country.

This group represents the beginning of a new era for the Rinkster Scorpions Pro Roller Hockey players ready to battle, compete, and represent Denton, Texas with pride.

The Texas Scorpions officially take the ice in Northlake, Texas for our inaugural season! We are pumped to announce our first officially scheduled home games on Friday November 6th and Saturday November 7th for our Home game weekend against the Boston Gold Kings. This is only the beginning… WAY more games and announcements are still to come. 👀

Memorial Weekend is coming in HOT and we want everyone ready 👀🔥

Here’s what to expect for division time frames so you can plan ahead ⬇️

🟢 6U & 8U
📅 Monday ONLY
⏰ 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
👉 6U will run half-rink, Iron Man style to maximize touches, simplify the game, and keep the kids moving 🙌

🔵 10U & 12U
📅 Monday ONLY
⏰ 12:00 PM – 6:45 PM

🟣 14U & High School
📅 Saturday ONLY
⏰ 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

⚫ Adult Divisions
📅 Saturday: 3:00 PM – 10:10 PM
📅 Sunday: 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM

👉 All other divisions will be running full-team games with two 12-minute periods to keep play competitive and flowing all weekend 💪🔥

Quick refresher on stick lengths & flex👇

Our 70 flex = plays like a 65 for most adults… super whippy, easy release.

55 & 65 flex (Intermediate) → perfect for teenagers & most women.
Once you’re getting around 5’10”+, you should be moving into a 70 flex in most cases.

The goal = let the stick do the work. More whip = quicker release + better shots.

We’ve got a great session lined up with Coach Baca & Coach Gattus leading practice this week, so it’s a perfect opportunity for newer players to keep building confidence and fundamentals 🙌

⏰ Practice Breakdown:
• 9:00–10:00 AM – Learn to Skate & Skill Work (Coach Gattus)
• 9:00–11:00 AM – Dry Land/ Advanced Skills + Scrimmage (Coach Baca)

This is a full 2-hour practice for our older players, so come ready to work 💪

Remember please sign your skater in upon entry on the clipboard up front, use a locker room to change/get ready, and advanced skaters start with some Dry land!
