HERE’S your welcoming home place for the day. I can hear the sound of children playing out in the yard. Cows are mooing in the pasture waiting to be fed and milked. There's an hoot owl living in the dead tree. And early in the morning, a soft mist rises from the ground. Someone will be peeping out the upstairs window any minute to see what the weather is looking like to know how to dress for school. Yep. Looks like home...
Smells like home too. Coffee is perking on the stove. Cat-head biscuits are in an iron skillet just out of the oven. Eggs and bacon are frying. Mama is calling my name... Lin-n-n-da, Breakfast is ready...

BESIDES PRAYING

WHAT TO DO when
Somebody betrays you…
Look to Jesus example,
In his betrayal school.

Forgive them
As soon as you know.
Repay evil with good.
Don’t add to the show.

For two wrongs
Never makes anyone right.
Never helps either party,
If blinded in someone’s sight.

At the last supper,
The betrayer was not exposed.
On the cross, forgiveness
In the last words were shown.

When you practice the royal law,
When you act like king’s kids…
You bless God’s Kingdom
Such acts will not be hid.

A day of reckoning
Is scheduled for many deeds.
But repentance here and now
Will erase and set anyone free.

WHEN life is turned upside down,
What do you do?
Head in the sand? Run and hide?
Take an alternate route?

Pray is the only answer.
Seek what is best.
Turn your heart upward.
And you can finally rest.

For you are not the only one
That is affected by all this.
And other’s peace and comfort,
Is also at risk.

So, take a deep breath,
And breathe out the whole mess.
Release it to God,
And rise over this test.

INSIDE OUT... Well... the devil stuck his chest out... Let's just see what you're made of. And he poked his bony finger as he tried a little shove. Then I heard him as he hissed... I will turn you insideout and I'll show the world around you that you're just a frightened mouse. And then my heart was bare'd and the contents on display, but the Word of God was found and by His love I had been made. So when all the smoke had cleared and he had fired his best shot, and his last lie had been told... I was here and... HE WAS NOT!
