MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK UPDATE:
Brandon and Regina Bell (Dominican Republic) continue faithfully serving in the Dominican Republic, where God is opening doors for both evangelism and discipleship. Recently, they have hosted a children's ministry workshop and a men's outreach event that brought several visitors to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3).

Benin, West Africa, is home to more than 15.1 million people, many of whom have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. While Christianity has a presence in parts of the country, many communities remain deeply influenced by traditional religions and still need faithful, Bible-preaching churches. Will you pray that God would call and send more laborers to Benin? Pray for missionaries already serving there, for open hearts to receive the Gospel, and for strong local churches to be planted that will faithfully proclaim Christ for generations to come.

Like a river glorious is God's perfect peace,
Over all victorious in its bright increase;
Perfect, yet it floweth fuller ev'ry day;
Perfect, yet it growth deeper all the way.

Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blessed;
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand,
Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

Ev'ry joy or trial falleth from above,
Trac'd upon our dial by the Sun of Love;
We may trust Him fully all for us to do;
They who trust Him wholly find Him wholly true.

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK:
Brandon and Regina Bell have served as missionaries to the Dominican Republic with Baptist World Mission since 2018. Both were raised in Christian homes. Regina, the daughter of missionaries in Brazil, trusted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age, while Brandon accepted Christ as his Savior during his teenage years. After meeting in Bible college, Brandon and Regina were married and began serving in a church plant. It was during this time that God began directing their hearts toward missionary service. As the Lord opened the door to minister in the Dominican Republic, He clearly confirmed that this was the field where He desired them to serve.

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK UPDATE:
Craig and LeAnna Comstock (New Zealand) have continually seen the Lord bless their ministry as they faithfully invest in people through discipleship, youth outreach, and church ministry. They have recently rejoiced in seeing a soul trust Christ and be baptized, believers growing through one-on-one Bible studies, and several teens make decisions for Christ at youth camp. Please continue to pray for wisdom as they seek to develop national church leadership, for those hearing the gospel to trust Christ, and for lasting spiritual fruit as they labor to plant and strengthen churches across New Zealand.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Bangladesh is home to more than 175 million people, making it one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Yet millions have never had the opportunity to hear a clear presentation of the gospel. As Christ commanded us to take the Good News to every nation, Bangladesh remains a place of tremendous need. Join us in praying that God will strengthen His servants, open hearts to the message of salvation, and call more laborers to this spiritually needy nation.

Baptist World Mission would like to say a huge "THANK YOU" to the many faithful volunteers who prepare "The Messenger" mailing each quarter. They were busy on Friday, July 17, addressing and processing each issue.

"The Messenger" is a quarterly publication by BWM that includes encouraging articles from missionaries, board members, and staff. You will also find introductions to our new missionaries and encouraging highlights from our missionaries' ministries.

Never read it? You should. "The Messenger" can be received by snail mail, email, or read online. If you want to start receiving "The Messenger" by mail, please contact the office at 256-353-2221.
