Atlanta Film and TV attended and covered the Indie Night Film Festival this afternoon at Tara Atlanta and interviewed both founder Dave Brown and Co-host Morris Chestnut.

Indie Night’s return to Atlanta continues the festivals mission to provide a consistent platform for both established and emerging filmmakers to showcase their work, visibility, connection with audiences, and gain access and opportunities for growth.

Independent film takes center stage in Atlanta this weekend as Indie Night Film Festival returns to the city with a powerful lineup of filmmakers, creatives, and special guests. Founded by filmmaker and entrepreneur Dave Brown, the festival continues its mission of creating opportunities for emerging and established storytellers to showcase meaningful independent work.

This year’s Atlanta edition will be co-hosted by acclaimed actor and producer Morris Chestnut on Saturday, May 9, at the historic Tara Theatre.
