A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 10:00 a.m. Monday through 8:00 p.m. Tuesday for portions of north Alabama and southern middle Tennessee.

🌡️ Heat index values could reach 105°, creating dangerous conditions for anyone spending extended time outdoors.

Please take precautions:

💧 Drink plenty of water
❄️ Spend time in air-conditioned areas
☀️ Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun
👕 Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing
⏰ Limit strenuous outdoor activity to the early morning or evening
❤️ Check on elderly relatives, neighbors, children, and pets

Watch for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke, including dizziness, nausea, confusion, weakness, and fainting. Take symptoms seriously and seek help immediately.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and look out for one another.

[MISSING PERSON] Deputies are searching for Angela Huffman, 59 year old female who has a condition that may impair her judgement.

She was last seen on foot in the 500 block of New Center Rd near Hartselle. She was wearing a black shirt with white lettering, blue jeans, pink camo jacket, black Puma sandals. She is 5'4 and approximately 160lbs.

She has a tattoo with the Alabama A on the upper right arm.

Investigators are searching for Derrick Dewayne Brown, 56. Brown a Community Corrections Work Relase inmate at Mr. Sprinkler, did not return to jail.
