~RV Life~ Never stop moving!❤️🚍🌞🌸

Beach bound! It’s been 7 years since we did our first trip to the Fort Morgan RV resort in Gulf Shores Alabama and learned that the RV life is such a different lifestyle. For about $300, we could stay a whole week and feel like we were at home! We got a charter boat right from the park and caught red snapper and had cooked at a restaurant. Such a fun trip!!

~RV Magazine~ I hope your 2022 has started off well! I have been struggling with the decision to sell or keep my RV now that I have a house and a steady job site. The call to go hit the road on another adventure is pulling me in different directions and I’m secretly plotting a RV ski trip and beach vacation in my head as we speak!
Today, I have discovered that there is an RV Magazine! Some of the articles crack me up as I’m so familiar with the life, but just the fact this magazine even exists points to the prevalence of the RV lifestyle which I miss. Regardless of what I decide to do with my RV, I hope you find the place or lifestyle you are looking for. None of us can know what tomorrow will bring anyway! Let’s go on an adventure in 2022! Happy New Year!

~Kitchen Reno Update~ This renovation has been my most ambitious project yet. No, I couldn’t get this kind of counter space in an RV, but I keep pitching myself that I will cut, clean, and cook on that counter space in just a few more days!
I’ve got the wooden oven hood, new stainless steel oven, and fridge on order. Plus an adorable breakfast nook set and pantry to compete the kitchen. After 6 years, I didn’t see a point in a dish washer; besides, I now have a huge farmhouse sink!!! What do you think of my progress?

~🎅🏻Holiday season🎄~ Hey y’all! I have been busy at my new job and renovating my new house! Yesterday, I finally got the camper to the shop after about a year from its needed repairs. I’ve been so busy, I didn’t see the year go by and I’ve missed all of the RV community! While I’ve decided to no longer be a full time RVer, I believe that my journey has just started. RVing will always be in my blood and if the repairs go well, we may take it on a ski trip this holiday!
Please take a look at my camper from last Christmas! It was the winner from the Grand Design decorating contest in 2020! I hope you enjoy!🎄🎅🏻❤️

~Home Renovations~Happy Labor Day weekend! I’m usually beside a pool somewhere on holidays like these, but I finally got the strength up to paint the trim in the living room. I have not looked forward to it; I’ve bargained, avoided, and loath the thought of it. But like so many things in life, you just have to get started and keeping going! One day I’ll wake up and I’ll own the home of my dreams!

~Transition~ One month into saying good bye to the fulltime RV life and moving into my new fixer upper, I have pieced together my style living room!
Here is now and swipe left for the before!
If you don’t know my story, here is a brief overview. I spent 8 years in the US Army, three of those years I lived fulltime in my RV with my husband and a few fur babies. After deciding to end my military career, I decided to travel around the US with my husband’s jobs. All the while I was a stepmom to three and mom of none. Today, I find myself transitioning out of my RV and marriage moving quickly into an house and fulltime civilian job. To say it was a drastic turn is an understatement!

My new house is coming along and my nieces and nephews (9) are on their way for their first visit! My wonderful cousin sent me this mug “New Home, New Adventures, New Memories.” I’m so thankful for everything God has given me in this life! And there is so much more to come. Have a joyful Saturday!❤️

~RV to Fixerupper~ I still have a TON of renovation to do, but I’m slowly upgrading the house.
Not only is this the first house I have owned, but I have not had this much space for 6 years since I first bought the RV! I’m also caught between summer and fall; my flowers are still colorful but I’ve ready set out the pastel pumpkins!🌸🤷🏻‍♀️🎃~🚐🏡

I bought a house! It’s a total fixer upper but I knew that is exactly what I wanted. Now I can make it my very own. I’ll be staying in my RV while I update the house, then sadly I may be saying goodbye to my RV! If you enjoyed my RV reno, I think you will enjoy watching this process too! Come join me for another ride!
