MISSOURI VETERANS SUICIDE PREVENTION TEAM
QPR CLASS

In Missouri alone for 2019, 188 veterans and a total of 1103 persons died by suicide. In response to these figures we are sponsoring a Suicide Prevention Class.
Tony Gardner will train attendees to be Gatekeepers. We will learn how to “question, persuade, and refer”. Question them about their crisis, persuade them to get help, and refer them to resources that can help them. Training is expected to last about 2 hours.
This class is open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend and help prevent future suicides.
